Godfrey Mokoena takes silver in Berlin

Olympic silver medalist Godfrey Mokoena has grabbed second place once again, this time at the World Track and Field Championships in Berlin, Germany. The 24-year-old South African long jumper leapt 8.47m, just short of his personal best mark of 8.50m set a month earlier. Mokoena, who has also competed in the triple jump and high jump, has been concentrating on the long jump since 2007. Godfrey trains with Hasanen Power Wear.
Adam Malysz and Simon Ammann join growing list of HPW users

Elite ski jumpers Adam Malysz (POL) and Simon Ammann (CH) are the latest prominent athletes to train with Hasanen Power Wear. Malysz is a national hero in his home country and has won an amazing 38 World Cup competitions in his career (second only to Finland’s Matti Nykänen). Ammann was only 16 years old when he first joined the World Cup tour in 1997-98. He has won 35 total medals and competed at three Olympic Games already.
Boston University caps off amazing season

In arguably the greatest comeback in the history of US college hockey’s Frozen Four tournament, the Boston University Terriers scored two goals in the last minute of regulation time in the championship game to tie the game at 3-3 then finished the job in overtime. The University of Miami (Ohio) had scored with four minutes left to take a 3-1 lead but BU came roaring back to steal the school’s 5th national title. The Terriers train with Hasanen Power Wear.
Tiina Boman gives thumbs up to Power Wear in the pool

Professional triathlete Tiina Boman of Finland has tested Hasanen Power Wear weighted sportswear in training and given the gear her seal of approval. A special material has been developed specifically for swimming and the additional weight automatically intensifies pool sessions. Power Wear wishes Tiina lots of success for the 2009 season!
Tommi Evilä 7th overall at European Indoor Championships

Finnish Olympic athlete Tommi Evilä placed 7th yesterday at the 30th European Athletics Indoor Championships. The long jumper who came 9th in Beijing leapt 7.86 meters, just shy of his personal indoor best mark of 8.00 meters set in Tallinn in 2005. Evilä has had some injury problems in the last couple of season but is looking to regain his top form which earned him a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships in his home country.
