Finnish Olympic athlete Tommi Evilä placed 7th yesterday at the 30th European Athletics Indoor Championships. The long jumper who came 9th in Beijing leapt 7.86 meters, just shy of his personal indoor best mark of 8.00 meters set in Tallinn in 2005. Evilä has had some injury problems in the last couple of season but is looking to regain his top form which earned him a bronze medal at the 2005 World Championships in his home country. He is now training with Hasanen Power Wear.
